Apprenticeship Practitioner's Forum

We in Allen Apprenticeships and Skills know the value of being able to talk to other like minded people in other organisations.

We have therefore set up the Apprenticeship Practitioner's Forum (APF) to enable employers who have an apprenticeship programme, to be able to network with each other and share common solutions to common problems.

In addition, at the APF you will have the opportunity to hear from experts in a wide variety of apprenticeship fields, who completely free of charge, will be able to help you, or at least point you in the right direction.

The APF usually meets quarterly, usually in London, for three hours. However, during the Coronavirus we have provided on-line opportunities for the group to come together. There is no membership fee, and no fixed agenda. The purpose is for you to have the opportunity to talk to other employers who are delivering apprenticeships and to share your successes and your issues!

What sort of issues do we talk about?.........

Should I become an Employer / Provider?

How can I ensure that I am complying with the rules regarding the 20% off-job training?

I am interested in transferring some of my levy funds to another employer

I am a small business. How much do I have to pay for the apprenticeship training?

How can I maximise the return on my Levy contributions?

How can I recruit the best apprentices?

How can I make sure that I am ready for Ofsted or an ESFA Audit?

What is an ILR?

What about paying VAT?
